Although her interest in photography began in her teens, Roberta Mislevy's love of photography became more focused in 2002. As part of her work as a teacher, she began presenting teacher workshops in both the creative use of digital cameras in the classroom and the use of old photographs as primary sources in history classes. As she studied the kinds of photographs that engage the viewer and tell stories, she decided to set out with a camera to capture her own images. Roberta's work as a photographer has been inspired and encouraged by her sister, Debra. Although Debra Bronson Photography is based in the Chicago area, the two sisters often travel together to do photographic work. Roberta Mislevy Photography is located in Annapolis, Maryland.
